Saving your bread tags could be a blessing to someone else. Why? It takes 600 000 bread tags to provide a wheel chair for someone in need. The idea of collecting bread tags has its roots in a friendship club gathering back in 2006. To date this act of compassion has resulted in the donation of 439 wheel chairs to men, woman and children as well as 15 walking frames for children affected by cerebral palsy. Initiated in Fish Hoek, this initiative has spread throughout South Africa, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands. A small team led Mrs Mary Honeybun dedicate much of their time to this endeavor.
